For Review:

The Complete History of Why I Hate Her by Jennifer Richard Jacobson
(HC/Releases April 2010/Richard Jackson Books)

Nola wants nothing more than a summer on her own - and a job at an upscale Maine coast resort sounds ideal. She'll have plenty of beach time between waitressing, some freedom from stresses back home, and the chance to make new friends. Enter Carly, the perfect pal: full of jokes, ideas, energy - and experienced at being away from her mysterious family. But Carly turns out to be much more complicated than the standard summer buddy - her borderline personality can turn on Nola in a flash, and even love becomes a rivalry. As the girls' instant friendship unhinges by subtle, increasingly powerful turns, the commonplace becomes dramatic - and the outcome unforgettable.

I received this as part of a tour for Around The World Tours. If you haven't checked out the new tour website, you really should. They're very fast and effective, with a huge range of books. I'm currently reading this book and enjoying it a lot!

Not Ordinarily Borrowable by Thomas Thurman
(PB/September 2009/CreateSpace)

Maria is occupied with trying to earn her doctorate, and she's far too busy for adventures. But when the library books she needs are unexpectedly borrowed (by a dragon) she finds herself on a quest to find the books, the dragon, a sword, courage, and the greatest cake recipe in the world... not to mention the last chapter of her thesis. An adventure for children of all ages.

I received this for review from Thomas. Thanks so much!

For Keeps by Natasha Friend
(HC/April 2010/Viking)

Josie’s never met her dad, and that’s fine with her. To Josie, Paul Tucci is just a guy who got her mom pregnant and then moved away. It all happened sixteen years ago, when Josie’s mom was still a teenager herself. But now Paul Tucci is back in town, and Josie has to deal with not one but two men in her life—her father and her first boyfriend, who Josie fears will hurt her just like Paul hurt her mother.

I received this for review in a surprise package from Penguin. Thanks so much! I love surprises. This sounds especially exciting. I've been seeing some other bloggers talk about it, and I can't wait to read it.

I also received a cute little package from Jill of The O.W.L. It was part of a Pay It Forward contest. It had a cute little pen, magnet, sticky notes, mini notebook, and a couple pads of paper - all with a cute design on them. Thanks so much!

I had a good week. What about you?
